In the middle of nowhere on a deserted farm, we found this. The farmer himself are on a sad path, going further into the shadows of Alzheimer’s for each day. It is fascinating in a sad way how a house so quickly ceases to be a home and becomes a ruin when its people disappears.

This is the cat Syster. Her fur color is called Calico or Tortoiseshell-and-white. Or Mi-ke in japanese. Read more about this phenomenon wich only affects the female cat.

Due to lack of light, lust and general glow I have to rely on old stuff, for instance this photo taken at the 4 of September 2010 at Galterö in the Southern Gothenburg Archipelago.
Today it is the day after the Winter Solstice so soon, very soon, one can notice it’s getting lighter here. Currently the sun rises at 8:55 and sets 15:25 which gives us 6,5 hours of daylight…

Leo, the Finnish Lapphund, who became a Swedish Westcoast Dog. Leo mostly herds passing-by tourists during summer, but in winter time he just lets the time pass by.
These days Gothenburg is a city, or town, who features numerous festive events, all in the name of happiness and philanthropy… as long as you can put Christmas-, or in Swedish; Jul-, in front of the actual event.
